Our theme this year is "Awaken Faith". Our theme verses are Hebrews 11.1-6. We have 3 actions to bring about this the awakening of faith at North Omaha Good News Bears.
1) Living a life of faith ourselves.
2) Protecting the space for God encounters.
3) Looking for opportunities to share the goodness of God with the each other, the kids and the parents/guardians.
Over the next few blog posts we will highlight each of the 3 points and go into a little more depth. We are a couple weeks into Bears Club and we are excited and expectant for what God wants to do this year. We want good. And we believe that God has the best good. We look forward to sharing the North Omaha Good News Bears with you.
This is Tehya teaching the class. Tehya has become a volunteer teacher in her last year of high school. She grew up in club and it is a pleasure to see her stretching, growing and serving.
Fun is a value here and NOGNB. You could say we try to live it out.
