About
First we seek to inspire today’s youth and families to reach their maximum potential through faith producing responsible caring citizens. Once inspired we seek to equip youth and families to reach their maximum potential through values based recognition programs. The NOGNB accomplish this through after school tutoring and mentoring programs, field trips, summer and fall camps, positive role models, rewards based recognition for moral and academic excellence, parent conferences and nutritious meals.
The North Omaha Good News Bears (NOGNB) Club was created to provide a positive influence in the lives of at risk youth ages 4 to 17. The club reaches children in a contemporary way at the point of their greatest need. It is established through building relationships with adults in settings children enjoy - field trips, games, awards, recognition, etc. with special, activities including inviting notable public figures to help inspire them.
